Tell the government: Our communities welcome refugees

While the politicians fans the flames of division and fear, people across the UK are choosing something different.

From classrooms to kitchens, sports clubs to places of worship, and even local councils, we see the quiet, powerful reality of welcome. Volunteers delivering food parcels. Neighbours sharing a smile. Children learning together in schools where dozens of languages are spoken.

This is the real face of our communities. One that stands for care, not cruelty. Inclusion, not hate.

But right now, the government is making choices that undermine these values. From deportation deals to hostile policies that strip people of their rights, they are punishing those who come here seeking safety, and silencing the communities who stand with them.

We believe in strong, safe, welcoming communities. And that starts by uniting.

By signing this petition, you’re joining a growing movement calling for a fair and compassionate asylum system - one that upholds basic rights, treats people with dignity, and reflects the values of the communities we live in.

By signing this petition, you’re sending a clear message to the government:
Our communities welcome refugees. And we demand a country that does the same.

Let’s show the country, and our leaders, what real community looks like.

We’ll deliver this petition, along with messages of community directly to the government and show that we are many, we are united, and we will be heard.
